Maria Kogan
i got my start in my parents living room. a goofy kid, mouthing
the words to "panama", pretending the wall is a screaming audience.
i see drag as an escape from society's standards and norms placed on both genders, and i approach performance as a fun way to live out those little fantasies we all have of being a star. i love everything from the empowerment of putting on a suit to the more playful and baggy boy-band outfits; you let the characters take you for a ride.
our shows aren’t just about women dressing up as men, it’s about theater and performance. our shows are all about: connecting with the audience on a personal level, having fun.
i have a hard time sitting still and staying at
home.
you will rarely catch me glued to a tv.
i despise routine.
